I know I am inputting my primary username correctly. Why do I receive a generic error while activating the security software?

In order to activate the Security Suite , the primary username and password must be used, not a secondary account. If you forget your password, we suggest that you contact your ISP technical support representative to assist you with the issue.

Please make sure your caps lock is off as the activation screen is case-sensitive . In addition, ensure that you have downloaded the latest version of the software.
